• What does Supashield 16/3 consist of?
  16% CO2, 3% Oxygen and balance Argon.
• What is Supashield 16/3 used for?
  Supashield 16/3 is specifically formulated for MIG welding mild steels 5mm – 15mm thick.
  
• Do our cylinders have top or side entry valves?
  Side entry pressure retention.
  
• What is a pressure retention valve?
  A pressure retention valve maintains positive pressure in the cylinder thus preventing contaminents from entering the cylinder and ensuring the purity of the gas.
  
• How safe is the gas?
  The gas is inert (doesn’t react to anything), non-toxic, colourless and odourless. We always recommend any gas must be used in a well ventilated area to reduce the risk of asphyxiation
